Missing Persons Report (5/24)

HAVE YOU SEEN ME?

What was supposed to be just a few games is now overflowing into its third series. Johan Franzen, who has been out with concussion like symptoms since the Colorado series, will still be out for Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.

Not having even seen the floor in the past two games of the NBA's Eastern Conference Finals, Jarvis Hayes appears to be a missing person. In his four games in the Orlando series, Hayes only averaged 4.25 minutes per game.

What was supposed to be a filling of a need has turned into a filling of a seat on the bench for the Boston Celtics. Sam Cassell has been a coach's decision DNP in the two games of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Batting .334 and playing a gold glove caliber shortstop sometimes isn't enough to help you see the field in major league baseball. Ramon Santiago, who hasn't played since May 15 and has only started 7 games this year, has greatly improved his offensive game which on most teams would lead to much more playing time.

Thanks for your blogging, its really enjoyable.

Also, its strange to me why Jarvis Hayes doesn't get playing time, Tayshaund def. needs some rest, he's been playing more than anyone.

Hopefully Franzen can show up for game 2 and play out of his mind. I have a feeling we might need that with Pitt. trying to even the series back up.

Ye man I am a big fan of Santiago. Dude is a straight defensive talent. Smooth ass defending infielder. If his stick is anywhere near what it has been this year, he is much more then a bench rarity.
