Chat the Day.

Two things I learned from the Ford Field regional semis on Friday:

Stephen Curry (left) is really good. 33 total points with 22 in the second half against a Wisconsin team that tried to dominate him defensively. He gave an inspired performance that left the crowd in awe.

Curry stole the show on Friday, I think he stole my camera as well.

People at Ford Field are stupid. The design for the court was puzzling to say the least. One riser stuck out way farther then another and the court wasn't even close to centered on the field. Not to mention that 3 players almost flew off the 3 foot stage that the court sat on.

Quick Hits:

Pistons.

LeBron James
was in attendance for the regional at Ford Field, and was boo'd excessively when showed on the television broadcast. He eventually was escorted out.

Little did he know, that was the best basketball he'd see all weekend.

The Pistons spanked the Cavs last night at the Palace. The Cavs didn't even show up, LeBron got a technical, and that was that. Really not much came out of this game, except Ben Wallace, who came out of the game when his back spasms started up again.

Tigers.

Season starts up on Monday, or atleast I hope. (Weather). Forecast: Moisture.

Lions.

Signed more guys I haven't (or anyone) has heard of. At least they aren't former Bucs.

Wings.

D-Mac is back and the boys are starting to get healthy. Franzen decided to start scoring like Gretzky.

Big Blue Recruiting:

Two commitments, Cass Tech running back Teric Jones and Ohio defensive back Justin Turner. Jones was the fastest player at the Junior combine in San Antonio, and Turner is one of the top 50 players in the country according to Rivals.com. Jones could end up being a high 3-star or low 4 star while Turner is already a legit four-star.

Rumors of another commitment. Its premium information so all I'll say is
Bryce Bryce Baby.

Michigan Hockey:

Frozen Four bound.
After beating Clarkson 2-0, the Wolverines head to Colorado to face the Golden Domers of Notre Dame.

I'm a Cass Tech alum and I am pretty surprised Teric Jones even got a Michigan offer this early. He hasn't even started a game yet.
