The Detroit Pistons are reportedly close to signing Theo Ratliff. Ratliff had to be bought out and cleared of waivers before he could be nabbed by the Pistons.
Theo Ratliff was originally drafted by the Pistons out of the University of Wyoming. He was with Detroit three years.
