We've got World Series of Poker run rampant on my television. I've been keeping track, the past week the WSOP either this year or re-runs has taken 25 hours of ESPN..
All-star game
Zzzzzzzzzzzz, oh what its over? Whew, that was a good game.
People will want to tell you they need to change it up, not make it mean anything again. There isn't a diehard baseball fan alive that will tell you that game wasn't good. A collection of the best players in major league baseball leaving it all on the line.
And Carlos got a hit
Guillen smacked one the other way for a lead-off double in the extra innings. Naturally though, he didn't score. Guess he is used to it playing for the Tigers this year.
Maggs up, Clete-town Down
Tigers demote Clete to AAA, recalling Magglio back up. Sign that Matt Joyce may be here to stay.
And finally...
The winter classic, as its being called, is official. Red Wings @ Blackhawks in Wrigley.

Why isn't ESPN telling me about my father!
In the quest to find a proper name for the new daily post on here, a la mgoblog's "unverified voracity", we'll try out different ones for a week or so..
Josh Hamilton.
Was the father of pretty much everyone at the Home Run Derby yesterday. Justin Morneau put on a late run, however the deed was already done.
Really, MLB half-assed their fix of the home run derby by only combining the first and second round totals. The killjoy that followed Morneau winning and Hamilton losing overshadowed the real event last night.
Sports.
You don't get into sports to actually have something to talk about with your politically-inverted Padre. What happened last night is why you get into sports. Its the only level of entertainment where someone can fall to their worst, comeback, and do amazing things. That is what Josh Hamilton did last night.
Matt Joyce.
Named AL Player of the Week -- and my dad is still trying to get Clete Thomas, Matt Joyce, Brent Clevlen, and Ryan Raburn straight. Joyce went 9-22 last week, and did everything right except losing us a baseball game.
But I guess we'll excuse him for now....
Bursa Sacks.
What is one? And why doesn't Peyton Manning have one anymore!?
Our blog doctor (my dad) says that its something in your joints that allow movement to be smooth. Peyton's got infected and was removed. Sounds good!
Rich Rodriguez = Satan? Perhaps.
Or atleast, the Free Press would like you to believe that.
Pretty much any negative article about Rich Rodriguez eventually finds it way to the front pages of the Free Press. Their journalism makes ESPNY's look like poetry.
All-Star Games in New York.
