Even without Pryor, future is bright at Michigan

It hasn't taken long for Rich Rodriguez to make a believer out of me. He has proven that he can put Michigan back on the map. I have no doubt that the combination of history and facilities at Michigan combined with the recruiting genius of Rich Rodriguez will have a huge impact at Michigan.

The majority of Terrelle Pryor's visit to Michigan apparently went well--and all the recruits were impressed with Michigan's facilities--but the night ended badly. Michigan losing to Iowa didn't help, but it seemed like Pryor was generally uninterested and Charlie Batch had little connection with Rodriguez.

I can't make any assumptions that Pryor isn't coming to Michigan, but it seems improbable to me. (Let's just hope that fellow Michigan Man Les Miles can keep him out of Columbus)

Still, this is going to be a great first class for Rich Rodriguez in his first year at Michigan. For only having been on since December, he's done amazing things. What is truely amazing to me is that the majority of the talent committed to the school is still on defense, which preaches volumes to me that Michigan will be great one day. Rich Rodriguez had amazing offenses out of nothing at West Virginia, but the defenses always held them back. Now with this Michigan defense, I can't expect anything less then Rose Bowls in 2 years.

What great "amazing things" has he done? I don't know, he should have at least made an effort to keep Mario and Arrington from leaving. Carr has less personality than a shoe, but at least he tried to keep his players for their 4 years. I just can't trust a guy who was born in West Virginia, raised in West Virginia, was a West Virgina fan, played for West Virginia, Coached for West Virginia, went to a great bowl game with West Virgina, and even began to raise a family in West Virginia, and suddenly he's a Michigan Man.

The amazing thing he has done is made Terrelle Pryor look at and visit Michigan in 2 months. He's come from behind in this recruitment.

I think he'll be able to recruit the hell out of the Midwest.

I don't think you can put the MM/AA situation on him unless he kept Coach Soup--the WR coach.
