Recruiting News

After new Michigan Coach Rich Rodriguez fired all 9 members of the remaining staff Thursday, many recruits were worried when only one coach, running backs coordinator Fred Jackson, was rehired.

One of these worried recruits was Detroit's own Boubacar Cissoko. Cissoko,
who attends Cass Tech High School, is one of the top defensive back recruits nationally. He had been verbally committed to Michigan since signing day last year.

Cissoko intends to visit Penn State after bowl season, and possibly other schools as well.

It is unclear if any other decommitments will take place, however many Michigan recruits asked for comments said they would stay onboard.

“I talked to a lot of the other (commitments) and they're all planning to stay ” Dann O'Neill said, one of Michigan's highest touted offensive line recruits.
