Meet and Greet The Ballers

Welcome to the first of many editions of 'Meet and Greet' Pistons edition. This will be the first of a five part series introducing Detroit's newest ballers. First up will be Sammy Mejia.

Sammy Mejia, from New York City, attended DePaul University averaging 14.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists in his senior season. Achieving second-team All-Big East honors, Mejia was one of the most versatile players in DePaul history.

Mejia impressed many in the Pistons organization the NBA Summer league, especially with his shooting and defense. Expect him to make the Pistons this year, and to have quite a few minutes per game in the 3-7 minute range, providing some relief at the small forward position to Tayshaun Prince.

Do you see him doing anything in his first year, perhaps as a back up role to Tay? Where do you see him fitting in?

I really think that he makes the 15-man roster and sees some playing time. He won't be the direct back-up to Tayshaun because they will probably go with a 3-guard rotation before they go to Mejia.

I see maybe 5 minutes a game tops for Mejia, but that is probably better then being stuck in the NBDL

Now this has nothing to do with our previous conversations and arguments, nor to do with the personal beliefs and likings, but where do you honestly see the Michigan Wolverines and the Michigan State Spartans. You honest answer would be appretiated.

Bonkadonk sounds way too much like Badonkadonk, Cam.
